TAPROOT THEATRE COMPANY SEASON 2023 – GENERAL AUDITION IN PERSON & VIDEO SUBMISSIONS FOR EQUITY AND NON-EQUITY IN PERSON

AUDITION DATES: Thursday, August 11th 5:30pm-10:30pm & Friday, August 12th 5:30pm-10:30pm

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

ACTORS: Please prepare two short monologues (no more than 3 minutes total) of your own choosing

ACTOR/SINGERS: Please prepare one monologue and a short musical theatre selection of your choosing. Acapella singing accepted as well.

 

If you do not currently have a song selection or accompaniment of your own, please feel free to submit from this list of options: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1F60mPnVk5a0TcXHwfNXJByuDI1DwNGlL?usp=sharing (Be aware Taproot Theatre is unable to provide housing or transportation for its artists.)

 

CONTRACT AEA : SPT Tier 4, $495 per week plus health and pension. NON-AEA: $17.27 per hour (for every hour called for any purpose including costume fittings, press, etc.) SEEKING Actors and singers for a wide variety of roles in our 2023 season. Taproot Theatre Company requires every employee, volunteer, and contractor to present proof of vaccination against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination can be vaccine card (copy or photo accepted), WA state immunization printout, or verified medical record printout from medical provider. OTHER An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition. Equity’s contracts prohibit discrimination.
