In Between is a captivating theatrical production that explores the complex themes of immigration and migration, and the space. This unique and compelling show features a collection of 6-7 original 10-minute plays from diverse playwrights representing cultures around the United States.
The show explores the complex and nuanced experiences of individuals living between cultures, identities, and worlds. From stories of family, love, and loss to tales of resilience, humor, and self-discovery, In Between celebrates the beauty and richness of diversity and the power of human connection.
We believe that the multilingual and multicultural aspects of In Between make it a must-see for anyone interested in exploring the rich diversity of our world.
The performances will take place at the end of August in Center Theater in TPS.
Yun Theatre is a bicultural, experimental theatre company that challenges traditional norms and confronts social and political issues affecting marginalized communities. Our productions reflect the intersection of Chinese and American ideologies and aim to spark dialogue and contribute to positive change and social justice.
Rehearsal: June & July
*Rehearsal schedule will be very flexible and based on the availability of the director and actors. You may participate 1-3 plays and each play rehearse 3 times and 3 hrs each time.
Load-in: 7/31 – 8/5 (6 days)
