Synopsis:

A fantasia inspired by E.M. Forster’s A Passage to India, PASSAGE is set in the fictional Country X, which is a neocolonial client of Country Y. B, a local doctor, and F, an expat teacher, begins to forge a friendship that is challenged after a fateful trip to a local attraction.

This is part of the Strawberry Theatre Jam directing festival. Please submit for audition before 4/7

Key Production Dates:

  • Rehearsals Begin: May 12. We plan to rehearse during daytime hours, with availability also on Monday and Friday nights.
  • Performances: June 13-15
  • Tech Dates: June 9-11

Compensation:

  • 200 - 370$ per week

Casting Details:

  • The play consists of 12 characters. We are casting an ensemble of 6 to 7 actors who will be double-casting roles. This approach allows for dynamic and versatile performances, emphasizing the ensemble's ability to portray the play's complex intercultural dynamics.
