COVID-19 UPDATE
***Update as of April 5, 2020*** Due to the expanded coronavirus stay at home order, the TPS rooms will be closed during our audition dates. While none of us know what the near future will bring, GreenStage is still committed to moving forward with casting for the summer. Auditions will now be held remotely over Zoom video conferencing. Audition dates and times have not changed. You can sign up for an audition, and you will be notified as to the next steps on connecting with us. All other audition requirements remain the same.
GreenStage is auditioning for our 2020 Shakespeare in the Park season. Our season includes two full length, full cast productions, and our Backyard Bard series that consists of two abbreviated plays both done by the same cast of 4 actors.

Backyard Bard plays are TWELFTH NIGHT and THE TEMPEST - Directed by Ken Holmes
All three tours run from July 10 - August 15. Rehearsals start in June.
** Actors of all ethnicities, genders, ages, and body types/sizes are encouraged to audition. **
Our productions are largely ensemble based, with some actors taking on multiple roles. We are interested in seeing actors who have experience in outdoor theater, but all actors are welcome.
At this point, all roles are open.
Each of our productions tours to approximately twelve outdoor park locations in and around Seattle.
Sunday, April 26 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm
Monday, April 27 from 5:00 - 10:00 pm
Callbacks will be Sunday, May 3 and Monday, May 4
Auditions will be held at Theatre Puget Sound, on the fourth floor of the Seattle Center Armory. Seattle Center is located at 305 Harrison Street, Seattle, WA 98109

Please prepare 2 Shakespeare or classic monologues, at least one in verse.
we encourage you to chose monologues that you are inspired by, not necessarily the gender of the role.
Bring 3 copies of your headshot and resume (one for each production.)
We strongly suggest familiarizing yourself with the plays in our season prior to auditioning.
