Expires: August 15, 2024

About the Project

Whidbey Island Center for Arts (WICA) is pleased to produce this award winning play by Bekah Brunstetter, directed by Lani Brockman. Della makes cakes, not judgement calls - those she leaves to her husband, Tim. But when the girl she helped raise comes home to North Carolina to get married and the fiancé is actually a fiancée, Della's life is turned upside down.

WICA is the TPS Gregory Award winner for best theatre in the North Region. We have a beautiful 200 seat semi-thrust proscenium theatre and an intimate black box. We are used to hosting off island actors and will work with visiting artist for housing and travel stipends. Please let us try to make this work for you, we are only 36 miles from downtown Seattle and a beautiful place to spend some fall weeks!
