Stuck in an elevator—or is it a spaceship?—a Woman and a Man struggle to figure out if they’ve met before, if they’re strangers, if they will meet in the future, and who this Other Woman is who keeps showing up. As reality shifts around them, the trio find themselves caught in a duel of philosophy, sexuality, and power. Defying the laws of physics, this story bends time and space around a single life-altering event, and asks the audience to decide what is true—reality, or our perception of it?
Style notes: this show is a stylized science fiction told via dark comedy.
Content Advisories: This play is a metaphor for processing domestic violence. Contains suggestions of spousal abuse, discussion of gendered violence, PTSD, misogyny, implied assault; contains consensual and nonconsensual bondage.
Important Dates:
Rehearsal January 4 - February 3, weekday evenings (M-R) and one weekend day (likely Sundays depending on cast availability).
Rehearsals will largely be at Annex Theatre.
Performances:
February 4 - 21, Thursday-Sundays at Annex Theatre with one Industry Night Performance on Monday, February 15.

Please submit the Google form listed below with which role(s) you'd like to be considered for and include any conflicts you have for October 2/5 (6-10pm) for callbacks or December 27 - February 21 for weekday evenings and weekends.

Callbacks:
By invitation basis, actors will be invited to callbacks on October 2 or 5 between 6-10pm at Annex Theatre. Callback sides are attached; actors are encouraged to read them to get a sense of the play and familiarize yourself with sides should you be asked to callbacks. You will hear back about callback invitations no later than Tuesday, 9/29.
Please submit a video audition, no longer than 2 minutes in length, consisting of slate and 1-2 monologues (of your choosing and NOT from the callback sides).
General auditions for this project will close on September 25.
Callbacks will be held by invitation on either October 2 or 5 between 6-10pm.
