Seattle Public Theater and the Seattle Public Education Department are excited to announce youth auditions for The Clockwork Professor by Maggie Lee. This production will be cast with teens and produced by professional Seattle theater artists, including director Gavin Reub. Seattle Public Theater's Youth Advisory cohort selected The Clockwork Professor to relaunch summer youth theater at our space on Greenlake. This production will give youth performers the opportunity to work in a professional theater setting with seasoned artists.
Please fill out the following form and include a link to a contemporary monologue of any genre. You can perform a monologue that you already know or, if you prefer, you can choose one of these PROVIDED MONOLOGUES. The deadline for virtual submissions is April 30th at 6:00 pm. The team will watch all video submissions and we will then hold in-person callbacks on April 21st and 23rd.

This show will feature an all teen cast (ages 14-18). All identities are welcome to audition, regardless of races/ethnicities, gender identities, disabilities, and neuro-diversities, etc. All character genders in the play are suggested and are completely open to cross-gender/non-binary casting, so please feel free to audition for any part you are interested in.
Please note that this show features a cast size of 8-10.
