New Muses Theatre Company

About the project and the company

New Muses Theatre Company is pleased to announce a non-union general casting call for roles in the 2021-22 Season: Shakespeare’s WAR OF THE ROSES.

We will be casting a repertory company to perform William Shakespeare’s HENRY IV, HENRY V, HENRY VI, RICHARD III, and a staged reading of RICHARD II at the Dukesbay Theater in Tacoma. Most actors will perform in 3-5 productions depending on the needs of the show and personal conflicts. Actors can indicate their availability on the audition form.

Each production will be filmed and released for on-demand streaming after the end of the live run.

Due to Covid restrictions, we are requesting that all actors interested in this production please submit a 1-2 minute monologue via video in lieu of in-person auditions. Video auditions will be accepted until 7pm on Thursday, August 26th. In-person callbacks will be scheduled for Sunday, August 29th in Tacoma.
