2022 Shakespeare Northwest Festival Auditions

About the project and the company

-Shakespeare Northwest is excited to present its 2022 Festival featuring Henry V and Loves Labours Lost which will be performed outdoors at the beautiful Rexville Blackrock Ampitheatre.

-Rehearsals will begin the first week of May and will be in repertory with one show rehearsing Monday and Wednesday evenings and the other on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  Saturdays will also be a rehearsal day with one having a morning rehearsal and the other in the afternoon.

-Shakespeare Northwest has been part of the artistic tapestry of Skagit County for nearly 20 years and is looking forward to bringing another season of outdoor theatre to life.

-Many roles in both productions are likely to be cross cast, and all performers are strongly encouraged to audition.

note:  these shows were originally cast in 2020 and the directors have chosen to retain the performers who have elected to return in their roles.  the open roles are as follows…

Please prepare two contrasting monologues, not to exceed 5 minutes combined, with at least one of them being Shakespeare. You may also send video auditions to auditions@shakesnw.org to be considered. Please send your video no later than April 3rd, at 5:00pm
