About the project and the company
Emerald Theatre is located in South King County. Although our shows and musical cabarets are typically live, we are living in atypical times and we are adapting to online performances in order to keep offering theatre opportunities to actors and performances to our communities. We encourage actors of all ethnicities, sexual orientations, age, religious backgrounds and experience to audition for our shows. Our production team has years of working with youth and adults in our communities in theatre and other pursuits. This adaptation of Dickens’ famous tale will be done with actors playing several roles and will be in a storytelling format. We encourage actors in our local area (King/Pierce County) to audition. To be considered for a part in the show, actors must have a computer that can Zoom; reliable internet; a space to act/set up green screen/a way to record (phone, webcam, camcorder or we can provide). The theatre will provide mics as needed, camcorders as needed, lights, and green screen.
