All actors will receive a stipend of $1,000.
We are committed to diverse and creative casting. The right person for the role will express the essence of their character, and will not necessarily conform to an expected race, gender, ethnicity, or body type. Actors of color, gender non-conforming actors, and actors with disabilities are encouraged to request auditions. Actors who are younger than age 18 must have approval from a parent or guardian in order to audition.
All actors invited to audition must bring and show proof of FDA authorized, complete Covid-19 vaccination received no less than 2 weeks prior to the audition. In addition, for the safety of everyone involved in the audition process, all production team members, actors and anyone else on site will be required to wear masks at all times except for actors during their audition.
It’s 1978. The ’60s are over and Reaganomics is just around the corner… At the Pierson School, a private boarding school for girls, Maggie Guthrie and Peggy Norris are roommates and best friends. Unwittingly, Peggy finds herself in the middle of a tug-of-war between the past and the future when a lecherous music teacher, two well-meaning counselors, a domineering new dean of students and a 12-year-old Iranian student all converge and explode, leaving Peggy’s life in tatters.
The roles of Cathy, Jim and Melanie have been cast. Auditions for the three available roles are outlined in this post.
