About the project and the company

O Bee’s Berenstain Bears® Financial Literacy Program visits local elementary schools to teach students about money through the concepts of Save, Share, Spend, and Earn. With a common core compliant curriculum for grades K-2 this program is educational, fun, and includes:

• A book reading: The Berenstain Bears Visit the Credit Union
• A visit from the beloved Brother and Sister bear

Job Description

O Bee Credit Union teaches a financial literacy program at elementary schools in Pierce & Thurston County featuring beloved children's book characters: The Berenstain Bears. We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable individuals with flexible schedules to wear Disney-quality costumes during these scheduled presentations. Presentations are typically scheduled during school hours: Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 3 PM and some weekends for events. 

Required Qualifications

In order to fit comfortably inside the costume, you must be 5',5" or under. Must be able to pass a background check as you'll be working with small children. Must be fully vaccinated with proof.  Must be reliable and have a flexible schedule.

Desired Qualifications

We're looking for enthusiastic, high-energy, animated individuals to perform during these presentations. Performance includes giving high-fives, getting hugs from small children, standing for pictures and using hand gestures to communicate.
