MAINSTAGE and ARTS EDUCATION TOURS

Equity Auditions
Book-It is holding Seasonal Equity Auditions on June 9th and 10th at TPS Studio E from 10am-6pm. Auditions are by 10-minute appointment slots and accepted first come, first served. The deadline to sign up for Audition Appointments is WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7th AT 10am.

NOTE: If you are EMC or non-Equity and wish to audition in person, please reach out directly via casting@book-it.org to be added to a waiting list. Otherwise, please look below for General Auditions.

General Auditions
Book-It is accepting General auditions via Self-Tape submissions. No Headshot or Resume is required but encouraged if available. Directions for Self-Tape Submission:

1. Use your phone or whatever camera you have available. We don’t need the highest quality video, but we do want to see and hear you.
2. Feel free to use your space as best serves your pieces.
3. Please state your name, roles, and material sources at the beginning of the video.
4. Please label your video in this format: FirstNameLastName_Bookit, ex: MaxKoh_Bookit
5. The Deadline for Self Tape Submissions is SATURDAY, JUNE 10th AT 6pm.

Everyone working at Book-It Repertory Theatre is required to be vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination upon hiring. Our policies are based on and evolve with our agreement with Actors’ Equity Association and recommendations by public health authorities. Audition requirements

Please prepare 1-2 monologues or passages of text from the media of your choice. This could be from a book, play, movie, TV show, or any piece of media where the character speaking has a direct listener in mind. Please keep your entire audition under two minutes in length.
