About the project and the company
We are seeking a Costume Designer for our April 2024 production of CABARET (1998 version) Directed by Jessica Low, with Music Direction by Brandon Peck and Choreography by Annalisa Brinchmann.
Rehearsals begin March 4th and Dress rehearsals are; April 22, 23, 24 with Preview on April 25.
Cast size is 16-20
Job Description
Costume Designer is responsible for both the designs and the procurement / construction of all costumes. A stipend is available for an Assistant. All production meetings, rehearsals and performances will take place at Bainbridge Performing Arts, on Bainbridge Island.
Required Qualifications
We are seeking someone who has experience designing and creating costumes that "move" well with choreography. This is a dance-heavy production and an all-adult cast and it's imperative that the costumes look fabulous, are durable and allow movement. We are a very collaborative team and look forward to working with someone who can bring exciting ideas to the table and enjoys a creative approach to playing with period details.
