About the project and the company
BPA is looking for an experienced and skilled carpenter to assist with scenic builds for one or all of the remaining productions in our 2019/2020 Season; Fun Home, Pride & Prejudice and Macbeth.
BPA’s team of theatre professionals work with volunteer cast members from Bainbridge, Kitsap, Seattle and beyond to produce professional quality, well supported and attended shows in our 245 seat facility on Bainbridge Island. Bainbridge is a beautiful 35-minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle and the theater is a short walk from the dock. BPA produces five Mainstage shows a year, including a summer Shakespeare production at nearby Bloedel Reserve, and house The Edge Improv, Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra and BPA Theatre School. Hours: Contract, Flexible Hours- some evenings, and weekends

Job Description
Assisting TD / Scenic Designer with technical drawings of scenic elements Assisting TD with construction of all scenic elements ensuring design, safety, budget, and schedule requirements are met Being on site for scenic build (schedule to be determined by TD) and strike after the last performance
Required Qualifications
2 years experience with theater scenic construction preferred Must be proficient with all shop tools
Desired Qualifications
Computer drafting software and skills are a plus
