About the project and the company
More than 20,000 people experience magical moments at a Leavenworth Summer Theater production each year. Over the past twenty eight years, LST has grown from a small theater on the lawn of Hatchery Park to a destination theater utilizing two outdoor venues for musical theater in Leavenworth. Both venues have been outstanding in providing our audience, performers and community with a unique and memorable outdoor theater experience.
LST has a major positive impact on the community of Leavenworth and the greater Wenatchee Valley. In 2018 the financial impact of LST was estimated to exceed $15 million for a three show summer season. Today that impact has grown. Contributing to the community is a big part of who we are.
Our mission at Leavenworth Summer Theater is to present professional quality theater, focusing on family-oriented musicals.
Job Description
The Executive Director of LST serves as the chief executive officer reporting to the Board of Directors. They are responsible for all elements of LST’s operation which include artistic/productions, financial, human resources, facilities, fund raising, and donor, community and public relations.
