EXTRAS NEEDED- Basic Cable TV Comedy Series- April to June- Seattle

We are casting background extras for the second season of a Basic Cable Television Comedy Series filming in Seattle and surrounding cities from mid-April to mid-June. This is an irreverent, absurdist comedy cable series that filmed its first season here in Seattle. We are looking for background extras of all races, genders, ages and sizes. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be legal to work in the U.S.

PROJECT: Basic Cable Television Comedy Series

RATING: TV-14

FILMING LOCATIONS: Seattle and surrounding cities

FILMING DATES: mid-April to mid-June

TIME COMMITMENT: Extras may have multiple days of work on several episodes. These are all day commitments. Extras should plan for at least 12 hours of work on days they are booked.

COMPENSATION: Seattle minimum wage: $16.69/hr., 4 hours guarantee of pay. Overtime will start after 8 hours. All extras should plan on an 8 to 12 hour day. Extras will be paid for all hours worked; but if you work LESS than 4 hours, you are guaranteed 4 hours of pay. Extras compensation will be paid by a payroll company.

COVID 19 testing will be required for all extras, 24-48 hours before coming to set (with additional compensation), plus rapid-testing on set the day of filming.

Fully vaccinated people are still required to test per studio guidelines.

COVID safety guidelines will be followed on set.

OPEN TO SAG-AFTRA EXTRAS AND NON-UNION EXTRAS*

This is a SAG-AFTRA television series, but it is open to union and non-union talent to work as background extras. SAG-AFTRA does not cover theatrical (film and television) extras in the Pacific NW. This does not count as a union job for background extras. All extras get paid at the non-union rate.

Please submit CURRENT/RECENT color photos (selfies are fine) close-up/headshot and full body. If you are submitting a professional color headshot, headshot should have been taken in the last 6 months and reflects current hair color, style and length. Selfies taken within the last week are best.
