About the project and the company

Renton Civic Theatre is a 30+ year Civic Theatre in the Heart of Renton, we pride our selves on doing Quality, Affordable Entertainment for the community thru the Performing Arts. RCT encourages anyone who is interested to audition and is always eager to welcome new faces and fresh talent to its stage. Except as specifically required by the author for certain roles, Renton Civic Theatre has a non-discrimination casting policy, open to members of all races, sexes, creeds, orientations, and abilities.

HAIR The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical follows a young group of hippies fighting the establishment, dodging the drafts, getting high, living and loving in New York City. This Production of Hair  has adult subject matter and there will be nudity in this production. We will be treating this subject extremely respectful.

Audition requirements

Please Email Valerie Reid for an appointment. Please specify which role(s) you would like to audition for and audition pieces will be given accordingly. Please prepare the sides given, you do not need to be off book. Accompanist will be provided. Be prepared for modifications and adjustments to be given in the room since we are not having callbacks. Bring your headshot and current resume with you to the auditions. Please also bring a list of conflicts with you to the auditions for the audition form. Must have an appointment.
