About the project and the company

GreenStage is looking for House Managers to join our 2023 Shakespeare in the Park team. Our 35th Anniversary summer season consists of three tours, each of which needs a house manager.

Each production tours to several different locations in and around Seattle. House Managers are responsible for setting up signboards, handing out programs, handling promotional items, collecting donations, and other tasks.

Must have smart phone to process credit card transactions

The season runs from July 7 through August 12.

$500 stipend paid at the end of run

Job Description

House Manager duties include: * Arrive at the performance location at least 1 hour before the curtain. * Set up signboards to direct audiences to the performance space * Manage distribution of concession items such as T-shirts, hats, coffee mugs, etc. * Hand out programs as the audience arrives * Make pre-show curtain speech to the audience * Reconcile donation income and make nightly reports, as well as preparing bank deposits.

Required Qualifications

* Reliable transportation and up-to-date driver’s license is a plus * Be outgoing, personable, and a good communicator * Must own a smartphone for processing credit card transactions * Comfortable addressing the audience… a loud voice is a plus * Must be able to reconcile money accurately.

GreenStage is an all volunteer organization and will consider people with all levels of experience.
