“Correspondent”

Short Film Narrative

A period piece set in World War II during the spring 1944 near an airbase in England. A photojournalist/US war correspondent is on her way to interview a RAF, Royal Air Force pilot before he takes off on his mission. This is a drama set before the D-Day invasion with the war on verge of turning the tide in favor of the allied forces. Interview/Audition for two lead characters.

The interview/audition will provide more details about the short film and the project start and end dates are tentative times set for next year to go into production.

Audition requirements

Bring a monologue for the interview/audition. For the female lead, nice to have experience driving a manual transmission is preferred. A scene requires to drive a vintage Willys jeep down a dirt road to the airbase.

Female Lead
Age: late 20s to mid 30s. Height: 5'5" to 5'7" Caucasian Photojournalist/ US War Correspondent planning an interview with a Royal Air Force pilot stationed at an airbase north of London.
Male Lead
Age: late 20s to early 30s Height: 5'8" to 5'10" Southeast Asian descent Pilot from India flying for the RAF, Royal Air Force and is a lead squadron leader for a wing of RAF pilots.
