Eastside Actors' Lab - (Free) Meisner Intensive

About the project and the company

Eastside Actors Lab is accepting new actors for its ongoing, free 2019 Meisner Intensive starting June 4, 2019. Eastside Actors Lab is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides actor training and professional theatrical and film productions for and to the communities east of Seattle.

The Lab meets weekly, on Tuesday evenings, on the eastside to train, primarily using Meisner’s Repetition Exercise. In addition to the Repetition Exercise (and similar exercises), Lab sessions offer qualified actors the chance to workshop monologues and scenes. Actors are asked to commit to participate in six-week intervals. Absences should be discussed with the Lab’s leadership beforehand.
