About the project and the company
GLIMMER is a high-action, big-character driven long-form improvised play that focuses not only on live wrestling on stage, but the real personalities and lives behind the scenes of the Glorious Ladies of Improv.
Location of Audition

Rehearsals will be Wednesday evenings and Sundays (11am-2pm), beginning in January.
Tech rehearsals are Saturday and Sunday, February 29 and March 1 (daytime) and Mon-Wed (Mar. 2-4) evening.
Performances are Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30pm (6:30pm call time) March 5-20 and April 2-10, 2020. (No Saturday performances; no performances weekend of March 26-27.)
Exact performance dates: March 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20; April 2, 3, 9, 10, 2020.
Performances (and many rehearsals) take place at Jet City Improv: 5510 University Way NE, Seattle.
GLIMMER is created/directed by Rebekah Schroeter (previously seen in Stabbin’ Cabin) and Assistant Directed by Douglas Willott (director of Uncle Mike Ruins Christmas).
Must have two years of acting or improvisational experience, and must be comfortable with movement, possible lifts and physicality throughout the rehearsal and show process. Not required for auditions. Must be 18 or older to audition. Performers of all genders and ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Our company welcomes actors that identify as womxn, LGBTQ+/MOGAI, and any member of underrepresented groups. Preferred method of submission
December 15, 7-10pm (This is a group audition. Please be prepared to be available for the whole 3 hours, although some auditionees may be released early.)
