SEATTLE OPERA DANCER AUDITIONS

Seattle Opera will be holding dance auditions for its upcoming production of

LA TRAVIATA

Seattle Opera is casting for 6 feminine characters and 2 masculine characters. We welcome all gender identities to audition for the role they feel is right for them.

Female presenting dancers:
Please bring character heels and wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that shows the dance line. Please bring a knee length rehearsal skirt, if possible. Looking for dancers with a strong jazz, ballet, or musical theater background.

Male presenting dancers:
Please bring ballet or jazz shoes and wear comfortable, form-fitting clothing that shows the dance line. Looking for dancers with a strong jazz, ballet, or musical theater background.

All dancers should bring a current headshot and resume.

Positions are paid (AGMA contract)

Dancers must reside within a 55 mile radius of Seattle

Audition will be Monday November 14, 2023 7p. Doors open at 6p. Rapid Antigen Testing onsite upon arrival before the audition. Video submissions ok.

Show begins rehearsing Apr. 10, 2023

Show dates: May 6, 7*, 10, 13, 14*, 17, 19, 20, 21, 2023

Looking for dancers with a strong jazz, ballet, or musical theater background. You will be playing Matadors. All dancers should bring a current headshot and resume.
