About the project and the company

Radial Theater Project seeks a lighting designer for Meet Me at Dawn, to be performed in February 2022 at 18th & Union.

Meet Me at Dawn is a play for 2 women. It takes place on a beach, but it isn’t a concrete reality – rather, it’s a liminal place, perhaps of one of the character’s imaginations, or perhaps a supernatural space. The play runs about 75 minutes with no intermission.
Two women wash up on a distant shore following a boating accident. Dazed by their experience, they look for a path home. But they discover that this unfamiliar land is not what it seems. Unflinchingly honest and tenderly lyrical, Meet Me at Dawn is a modern fable exploring everyday love, the mystery of grief, and the temptation to become lost in a fantasy future that will never be.
Meet Me at Dawn premiered at Traverse Theatre as part of the Edinburgh International Festival in 2017. This is the play’s US premiere.
