MACHA YOUTH VOICES 2022 – 2023
Information and Application
Macha Theatre Works is excited to announce the 2022 – 2023 season of Macha Youth Voices. This past spring, we launched a pilot program with our first cohort of teens and we’re thrilled to offer expanded programs this coming season. This playwriting for solo performance workshop is for teens ages 13-18 and was developed out of MTW’s successful series “17 Minute Stories.” Participants go through the process of making a personal story into a theatrical piece and develop an original work. This series includes one-on-one weekly meetings with a professional Macha mentor, several group meetings, guidance throughout the process, feedback from members of the Macha team and a public workshop reading of the final piece. This program is funded by Macha Theatre Works and is free of cost.
