About the project and the company

Casting Call for Singing Actors in performance of Pink Floyd’s the Wall! Performances and rehearsals will be held at The Vessel Taphouse starting mid October. Performance Dates will be in February with 4 to 5 shows. Highly recommend you watch the movie The Wall and/or the Pink Floyd concert performance before considering auditioning. Actors will be paid but rates are dependent on size of role – please DM and I will gladly share the full information.

AUDITION DATE: SUNDAY, October 21st at 6 pm at the Vessel Tap House in Lynwood 15615 Pacific Hwy, Lynnwood, WA 98087

Compensation is 65 per audition and 175 to 250 per show

Rehersals will run from Mid October to early feb

ROLE: PINK (Lead, Main Character) — sings almost every song! 

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Main character going through all of his mental traumas throughout life that have led him to create a wall. The show follows the building and destruction of his mental state. The actor needed for this role will be singing almost the entire album and will need to have very strong acting and singing skills to convey what we need. 

LOOKING FOR: Male, 21+

ROLE RANGE: G2 – D5, needs to be able to sing rock styling

ROLE: PROSECUTOR (Supporting Character) – speaking and singing character

ROLE DESCRIPTION: As Pink has his final nervous breakdown at the climax of the production, this character becomes our new narrator to help navigate us through to the end of the show. Actor may be asked to play smaller extra roles in supplement to the Prosecutor.

LOOKING FOR: Any gender, 21+

ROLE RANGE: A3 – C5

ROLE: WIFE/GROUPIE (Supporting Character) – speaking character, dancer

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Starting as a fun, sexy dancer this character later reappears as the wife and helps send Pink to his downward spiral. Actor may be asked to play smaller extra roles in addition to wife/groupie.

LOOKING FOR: Female, 21+

ROLE: MOTHER (Supporting Character) – singing character

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Pink’s mother is a strong presence in the beginning of the show, acting as at first a pleasant memory but that eventually turns sour. Mother is the first person to help Pink build the wall and later returns for the Trial.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: Evil tormenting presence to Pink and is the person who commands to bring down the wall. Actor may be asked to play smaller extra roles in supplement to the Judge.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: One of the first evil tormentors to Pink’s mental state.
