About the project and the company
The Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre is casting for its 2020 Summer Season. The roles of Noah and Harold in “The Full Monty” and Chad, in “All Shook Up” are still available.
Character Descriptions:
- Noah: Mature African American male, high bari-tenor with a solid high “A” He is a retired steel worker. We do not mind “aging” the right actor. Mover/dancer. Need to be very comfortable with your body; enough to perform on stage in your underwear and eventually a g-string. “Will we go all the way?” You must be prepared to do so and must agree to such to be considered for this role.
- Harold: Mature male, baritone or tenor. Mover. appearing 40s-50s. Unemployed Factory supervisor. Need to be very comfortable with your body; enough to perform on stage in your underwear and eventually a g-string. “Will we go all the way?” You must be prepared to do so and must agree to such to be considered for those roles
- Chad: Male 20s-30s. High bari-tenor (Solid high A), guitar player preferred but not required. Mover. Young Elvis/Conrad Birdy type.
Audition requirements
Please email your headshot, resume, and links to video submission to auditions@cdasummertheatre.com with the following subject. "Character-Show Title-Submission" Prefer a 1-2 songs, a monologue, and dance footage. Chad and Noah candidates should submit something from their prospective shows. If you are in the Spokane/Coeur d'Alene area, we can arrange a live audition.
