Seeking Accompanist/Pianist ACTOR
Centerstage Theatre
About the project and the company
Centerstage is working on a socially distanced and safe-for-artists version of A 1940’s Radio Christmas Carol.
We are seeking a skilled pianist who is also an actor. This character has no specified age range, race, or gender.
During the rehearsal period, you would be present as an actor and also as a Music Director, although we have modified the role for safety and efficacy. The MD will provide quick tracks to the actors, who will be primarily responsible for their own material and expected to come to rehearsals completely prepared. There will be no group music rehearsals.
One the show opens, the artist will be onstage, playing and performing the lines of the character. There are no other instrumentalists in the show, so pit direction is not necessary.
Show dates Nov 27 – Dec 20, subject to change.
