Singing for Seniors: CASTING CALL!

About the project and the company

NM Entertainment’s biggest division, Singing for Seniors, is an entertainment program that provides musical entertainment and services exclusively to seniors citizens and retirement communities. Singing for Seniors is performed to 100% musical tracks as a solo cabaret that is themed for each month while celebrating our featured musical of the month. Our themes differ from Classic Hollywood, Jukebox, Tropical Vacation, and more. Our performers are known for being stylish, well poised, prepared, and confident in their craft. These are paid positions that are paid per show at competitive rates. Opportunities for performing 1-10+ shows a week depending on availability. 

Positions Available:

We have open positions currently available for Part-Time performers as well as Lead Performers (full-time). Performers must be able to drive themselves with a reliable vehicle to venues across the greater Puget Sound area. The majority of our bookings are 10am-4pm Monday thru Friday. 

What to prepare:

If you would like to be considered for Singing For Seniors please prepare to sing a 32 Bar Cut (or around 60-90 seconds) of a Golden Age Theater song of your choice AND a Non-Musical Theater tune that debuted before 1970 (think Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Beatles, etc.) Please sing to accompaniment: this can be a piano recording or a Youtube/Karaoke track. A speaker with an aux cord will be provided.

If you cannot make the in-person audition, a virtual audition will be an option at a later date.

Audition requirements

For the safety of our clients, a majority of which are retirement communities, we can only cast fully vaccinated performers at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
