Stage manager needed for Woodinville Rep's Angel Street show in June

The Woodinville Repertory Theatre is searching for a stage manager for its June production of Angel Street.

The production will be at the Sammamish Valley Grange, 14654 148th Ave NE, Woodinville, WA 98072.

Hjalmer Anderson, artistic director and co-founder of Heart Repertory Theatre, and a co-founder of the Woodinville Rep, will direct the show.

Performance dates are June-2-4, June 9-11, June 16-18, and June 23-25. Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday shows at 2 p.m.

Call-back auditions are scheduled for April 11-12 at the Vaulting Frogs Preschool, 17802 134th Ave NE, Woodinville.

Formal rehearsals until the week before the show opens also will be at the Vaulting Frogs facility. The rehearsals at Vaulting Frogs will rum from April 24 until May 25 on Mondays through Thursdays at 7 P.M. to 9 P.M. Rehearsals will be at the Grange starting with the May 29 load-in.

The stage manager is expected to attend the rehearsals and help dismantle the show after the last performance.

The stage manager is expected to call the cast and the show for each performance and will be responsible for operating the lights and sound systems properly. Each system will be pre-programmed and tested.

She/he also will be responsible for ensuring lights and sound are properly placed before the show and stored afterward as needed. The set will be minimal but will include several pieces of furniture.

Required Qualifications

Stage management experience Familiarity with light consoles, sound equipment Must be able to provide own transportation.

Desired Qualifications

Ability to adjust sound and light controls without supervision. Ability to work with director, cast and producer to keep the production on schedule. Ability to meet deadlines and meet schedules.
