Job Description
Key City Public Theatre is looking for a theatre instructor to join our team for our Summer camps and Summer school programming. Every summer, we offer week long camps for Grades 1-9. These day camps provide an immersive experience for students of all levels to deepen and expand skills taught throughout the year. They are also an excellent introduction to the fun and creativity of theatre arts education. Each camp results in a showcase for friends and family to highlight their experience during the immersive week. These camps are taught outdoors in Chetzemoka Park in Port Townsend, Washington. Date range: July 17-27th, 2023
Required Qualifications
Previous experience teaching students ages 5-16 required. Must be confident in leading lessons and games that focus on skills in voice, movement, mime, improvisation, character development and storytelling.
