UW Theatre Laboratory Project Auditions (Fall 22)

About the project and the company

The University of Washington’s MFA directing program is holding an open audition for a laboratory presentation of a new work to be collaboratively developed this autumn.

The piece will be about the many seances conducted by famed 19th century author Victor Hugo, his attempts to speak with the dead, and the fragility of his familial connections. Actors involved in this project will be expected to do some collaborative script development in addition to performing.

The project will start rehearsals the first week of October and will present the in-progress work during the first weekend of November. Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday 6:30pm-10pm, and Saturdays 10am-1pm.
