Maintaining the Director’s artistic vision while calling the show and ensuring the production team is well informed of all aspects of the production within the framework of Edmonds Driftwood Players (EDP) requirements, under the supervision of the Producer.
Responsibilities: Ensure the cast, crew and Production Team are getting the information they need. Maintain the rehearsal schedule. Send the rehearsal schedule to all after changes are made; Support Producer in ensuring that theatre policies are followed by cast, director, and stage/booth crews; Unlock, lock, and secure the rehearsal space and theatre. Be the first one to arrive and the last to leave; Facilitate rehearsals by keeping track of time and breaks and supporting the Director as needed; Maintain order and discipline during rehearsals and performances; Document blocking and director's instructions in the rehearsal flat script. Record cues in the call book script.

EDP is looking for an experienced Stage Manager to join the Miracle on 34th Street, the Play team! If you (or someone you know) have experience calling cues, coordinating teams, and managing communications, we would love to meet you. We have multiple volunteers interested in splitting ASM duties to support the Stage Manager.
A basic outline of the schedule:
-Auditions Saturday, September 21 (2pm-5pm) and Sunday, September 22 (5pm-8pm); Callbacks Wednesday, September 25 (6:30pm-10pm)
-Rehearsals: October 1-November 21 (Typically Monday-Thursdays 7:00pm-10:00pm, but we'll be looking at potential Saturday rehearsals based on actor conflicts)
-Tech: November 15-21, 2024 (one 10/12 day OR two shorter days for tech weekend TBD based on production team scheduling; during the week tech is 6:30pm-11:00pm max)
-Performances: November 22 - December 15, 2024 (16 performances; 2 double-show days; Thurs/Fri/Sat at 8pm curtain; Sun at 2pm curtain; No performance on Thanksgiving)

All production team members are volunteers with a nominal stipend provided to help offset costs of participation. The Stage Manager stipend is $600. You will also receive two comp tickets and a discount code for additional tickets (that you can share with your friends and family).
