TPS is excited to announce – “PAY WHAT YOU WANT” individual membership levels

Why become a member?

TPS membership offers you so much greater value than the sum of services rendered. When you join TPS you invest in the future of our region’s theatres and artists. TPS does a great deal of advocacy work on behalf of the Puget Sound performing arts community, through which the entire community benefits.

Most importantly, your membership supports the advocacy work of TPS, the strongest and most persuasive regional voice on local and national issues that impact our region’s performing arts community.

Who are memberships for?

TPS has 4 types of memberships: Individual, Organizational, Associate, and Patron. In the coming months we will be launching exciting new benefits for our new membership types.

Individual Memberships are designed for those who work, are planning to work, or are volunteers in the performing arts industry across Puget Sound. This includes performing arts administrators, actors, aerialists, clowns, dancers, designers, directors, executives, musicians, producers, technicians, writers, wranglers, and more. All members from all fields get all the TPS things and can pay what you want for membership.

Organizational Memberships are designed for performing arts organizations around Puget Sound and the organizations that directly support them. There are 7 Organizational Membership Levels, and dues are based on annual budget, except for our newest introductory level for those which have only been in existence for 18 months or less. Organizational Membership is best for those organizations that want direct connections to those in the industry including traditional theatre, admin support, burlesque, choral, dance, improv, lightsaber, opera, foundations, symphony, and more. TPS supports all stages of the arts!

Associate Memberships are curated for non-performing arts businesses and organizations. This membership is perfect for arts-adjacent organizations and businesses who directly or indirectly support and want to support performing arts in Puget Sound. Associate Membership is best for businesses such as restaurants, bars, art supply stores, theatrical equipment manufacturers, and others. This is the level for those who want to list events, post job openings, offer discounts to TPS Members, and advertise their programs, services, and products through TPS marketing & media outlets.

Patron Memberships are for those who love and want to support performing arts in Puget Sound and receive membership perks, but don’t want or need a profile page in the TPS Membership Directory or access to TPS-hosted industry discussion boards.
