Alexandra Varriano is a Seattle native and a recent graduate of Cornish College of the Arts with a BFA in Theater Original Works. Since graduating, she has been seeking out film work, including making her directing debut in the 48 Hour Horror Film Project 2019 with Alex Was Here. She has also been adapting her solo show, A Pyrate’s Life: Anne Bonny, for the screen.
As a theater actor, Alexandra most recently performed as Anne Bonny and 12 others in her solo show at The Pocket in February 2019. Other credits include Emilia in The Winter’s Tale (Freehold Engaged Theatre), Timandra in Timon of Athens (Seattle Shakespeare Company), Fiona in Baltimore, the Cook in The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Isa in the generative piece Sanctuary (Cornish College of the Arts), and Isabella in Measure for Measure (Seattle Public Theater).
Alexandra strives to bring suppressed and unheard voices to the surface, and seeks collaboration with passionate and intelligent artists that live their values and speak their truths.
