Kalea Levy

Kalea is a Seattle-based artist who just recently graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Drama: Performance and Education, Communities, and Organizations. Before coming to Seattle for school, she studied at Zach Theatre’s Acting Conservatory in Austin, Texas underneath several teaching artists and mentors that fostered her passion for storytelling.  While performing is her first love, she has also had the privilege to discover her skills in everything from stage management to arts administration during her time at UW and has found that her soul is happiest in settings where she can be creative and collaborative.

Above all, Kalea believes that art is a potent instrument for healing the world. It holds the power to nurture understanding and compassion, transcending boundaries and fostering connection. The core of this healing lies in storytelling, in using the art of theater to illuminate and educate others about the rich tapestry of lived experiences. It’s a tool for breaking down barriers, shattering stereotypes, and forging profound connections that remind us of our shared humanity.
