2022 Theatre9/12 Generals for Master Class and Actor-produced Shows
Theatre9/12—Actor Development
About the project and the company
Since 2007, dedicated professional actors who have completed the foundation of their techniques have met once a week to work on great roles and challenge their talents. Exploring 2500 years of great playwrights, they support and spark each other’s artistic evolution in a pay-what-you-can Master Class of peers guided by artistic director, Charles Waxberg
This creative momentum manifests in actor-mounted productions which 9/12 staff facilitates. Since we began, 22 well-reviewed (well, almost always..) productions have been presented on a pay-what-you-can ticket price, profits of which are divided among the cast.
Audition requirements
If you will attend on the 10th, we would most like to see about 3 minutes of your most varied or challenged work, not what you feel you'd be cast in already. This can be from any published or produced stage script. We are looking for creativity, truthful passion, intelligence, and a solid foundation of usable technique.
