About the project and the company
As If Theatre Company is seeking actors of all ages and gender identification/ presentation for their 4th annual short play festival, “The Kenmore Quickies – Location. Location. Location.”, August 9-11, 2024. This year the prompts will be pulled from various locations in and around Kenmore, and each playwright will be assigned a different genre (comedy, science fiction, romance, horror, etc). Actors will be in two of the short plays. There will be a kick-off event on June 10, which is required for all participants (prompts, directors, and actors will be assigned at this time). Rehearsals will run 4 days a week starting on July 21, with four performances August 9-11 at the Kenmore Community Club (Friday, August 9 at 7:30pm, Saturday, August 10 at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sunday, August 11 at 5:00pm). There will be a $50 stipend.

Audition requirements
Actors should come prepared with two varying monologues, each under two minutes.
