Casting Call for lead actor!

“Vault” – a “found footage” short horror film written/directed by Ren Caldwell 

LOGLINE: A young outdoor enthusiast and streamer encounters the unimaginable while exploring an abandoned fortification.

PAY: Unpaid – IMDB credit and travel/meals provided 

LOCATION/DATES: This will be a one-day shoot at a Washington fort sometime between mid-August and the end of September (depending on cast availability and permit restrictions).

We are casting for the main character, RILEY (any gender, 20’s). This role requires some physicality (moving confidently through different spaces/terrain and a brief “altercation” with another character).

Riley is an outdoor enthusiast and streamer. They love exploring the underexplored (often getting in a bit over their head) in the pursuit of understanding themselves more through the nature they encounter. Their middle-size streamer fan base is drawn to their open enthusiastic energy, their resourcefulness when things get tough, and their commitment to authentically documenting their experiences.

This first round of auditions will be self-taped because the found-footage nature of this film will require you to convey Riley’s energy in a format where you will seem to be recording yourself.
