Hearing his brother Bryan recount his logging injury and encounter with a strange creature in the woods, not to mention the general malaise that seems to grip the city’s inhabitants, only strengthens his case. He desires to leave, but when Bryan dies under strange circumstances, Sid commits himself to finding answers. He puts his desires aside, for better or worse, and travels deep into the heart of the forest to confront the source of the curse itself.

Character breakdown / Project needs
Sid [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: Early 20s] [Ethnicity: Any]
Sid developed a bit of an inferiority complex to his older brother, Bryan. He tends to reject the burdens placed on him by his parents, and instead actively looks at ways to distance himself, including running away from home for weeks as a child. He struggles to hold down jobs due to his transient nature. He’s street smart and resourceful, but sometimes selfish, sarcastic, and overly confident.
Bryan [GENDER: MALE] [AGE: Mid-Late 20s] [Ethnicity: Any]
The spitting image of his father, Bryan is a blue-collar, hard working, proud young man who believes in the value of seeing things through to the end. Though he resents his younger brother Sid for giving his parents trouble, he still leans on him when the pressure becomes too much. He has an up-front, open demeanor, but a quick temper. Negative emotions tend to manifest in the form of vices like alcoholism and addiction.
