New Muses Theatre Company is pleased to announce a non-union casting call for roles in George Bernard Shaw’s SAINT JOAN. This production will play in front of a vaccinated-only live audience for 9 performances from July 30 – August 15, 2021. All rehearsals and performances for SAINT JOAN will be at the Dukesbay Theater in Tacoma.

The production will also be filmed and released for on-demand streaming after the end of the live run.

Live performances return with one of our most requested titles! George Bernard Shaw’s SAINT JOAN tells the story of Joan of Arc and her battle to win respect, equality, and freedom for her country. A political thriller set against the backdrop of the Hundred Years War, SAINT JOAN is revived in an intimate and breathtaking new production from New Muses.

New Muses is excited to continue residence in Tacoma's Dukesbay Theater for the entirety of the 2020-21 season.

Audition requirements

Due to Covid restrictions, we are requesting that all actors interested in this production please submit a 1-2 minute monologue via video in lieu of in-person auditions. Video auditions will be accepted until 5pm on Friday, June 18th. In-person callbacks will be scheduled for Monday, June 21st in Tacoma. Rehearsals are scheduled to begin on June 30th. To audition: 1. Film a 1-2 minute monologue and upload to an online video service. (Unlisted YouTube videos are preferred.) 2. Email a headshot and resume to casting@newmuses.com 3.
