BAYFEST Youth Theatre works in K-12 schools around the Puget Sound region, and hires teaching artists to do various kinds of Active Arts sessions.  Our teaching artists are all highly experienced and great at what they do, and we pay very well for sessions. Job Description

We are currently looking to hire someone who has solid experience doing creative dramatics work with the younger grades (K-1). 

Required Qualifications

We are required to do background checks on all our teaching artists. If you have completed one in the past 12 months, you can forward that to us if you are hired.

Desired Qualifications

Looking for someone who really loves working with the younger kids and has an arsenal of physical and fun "Creative Dramatics" activities that they can do with students. Often, there will be multiple sessions in a given classroom over a matter of weeks, and we always want to have an idea of how the sessions will build on each other. In some cases, they build to a culminating sharing sessions or presentation for other classes.
