About the project and the company

We are an online community theatre with the goal to create a safe, inclusive environment to create live theatre during quarantine. Actors of all ages, backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, sexual orientations, sizes, and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Basically, if you love theatre and are ready to work hard and have a good time, we’re happy to have you!
“Pride and Prejudice: a new musical” is a brand-new work by playwright and composer Amy Knickerbocker, with additional lyrics by Katie Lundquist and Andrew Knickerbocker, based upon the novel by Jane Austen.

Everyone will be considered equally for any role they are interested in. We don't want anyone to feel disqualified to audition for any reason. If you have talent, we want you! Period. **

Audition requirements

Actors are requested to come prepared with a verse and a chorus of a song from any musical. (New Broadway preferred.) Please make sure to have a backing track cued up and ready to go.  **No acapella auditions will be accepted.** There will also be a short interview with the Casting Director and VT2020's Artistic Director. The process should take no more than 10 minutes, barring technical difficulties. The Zoom ID will be sent with your confirmation email after we receive your registration.
