Rose in Titanish

About the project and the company

The Habit Productions and Seattle Public Theatre are presenting the 3rd year of their sell-out summer musical “Titanish” this summer at the historic Bathhouse Theater on Greenlake. The production will be directed by Mark Siano. This is a short rehearsal process, as it is a remount with the original cast.

We are casting for the role of “Rose”. Originated by Justine Stillwell, this is a part for a comedienne, a strong singer, and the protagonist in our production, remounting her performance. There is video for you to study the role, and Justine will be available to consult.

Justine recently became a mother. If cast as Rose, you’ll be opening the show and performing 90% of the performances. We would like Justine Stillwell to perform a few shows (approximately 3-4) on dates agreed to by all parties.

-The performer must be able to sing and belt loudly, as actors are not mic’d for this musical.

-Female, 45 or under (must pass for early 20’s).

-Actors of all ethnicities will be considered for Rose.

Location of Audition

Probably TPS or Seattle Public Theater. We will let you know the location when we confirm your audition slot.

Audition requirements

Please email us to secure an audition slot. We will send you a short side, and 2 songs to bring into the audition. You can expect 20-30 minutes of your time.
