SEEKING BALLET DANCER (POINTE) FOR SHORT FILM

About the project and the company

We are casting a BALLET DANCER for an independently-produced short film

Non-union, PAID opportunity

Logline: After constant rejection, a high-strung ballet dancer finds new meaning in her work.

The film will be under 5 minutes and shot in Seattle. We’re looking for a very strong pointe dancer who can tell a story through movement.

There will be no dialogue in the film, only a voiceover, so those who may be stronger dancers than actors are encouraged to submit.

Age: late teens – mid-late 20s

Filming Days: June 24, 25, or 26 depending on availability

Commitment: One day of rehearsal, one day of filming, a few production meetings

Stipend and lunch during the shoot will be provided
