About the project and the company
The set design/build artist who has been attached to our project just had to withdraw due to a family emergency, so we are now seeking a new set designer. Red Rover Theatre Company was established in 2016 and has produced seven full productions. Our next production is the premiere of Abacus, a new play by veteran Seattle playwright Duane Kelly. David Gassner directs a stellar cast. Opens September 19 at West of Lenin Theatre. Design fee $800. Script can be sent if you wish to see it first.
Job Description
Working with the director, design the set. This position also oversees the build of the set and is responsible for that substantial budget. If interested, please send email expressing interest.

"Abacus" is about AI and dementia. It tells the story of a synthetic human replicant that experiences unexpected concerns as she cares for a man who suffers the indignities of old age and cognitive decline.
