About the project and the company

Auditions are coming up for our 13th Annual Festival of Shorts and EDP is looking for an experienced Stage Manager to join the team, as well as interested ASM’s! If you (or someone you know) have experience calling cues, coordinating teams, and managing communications, we would love to meet you.

The schedule is included in our audition posting HERE. Our hope is to have an ASM cover one set of rehearsals and the SM cover the other, since most of the time they are at the same time in two different spaces. Eight Shorts finalists will be performed (so there are eight casts, eight directors, and one design team) with four shorts in each act (shorts are 10-15 minutes each). Production meetings are optional for SM’s.

All production team members are volunteers with a nominal stipend provided to help offset costs of participation. The Stage Manager stipend is $200; ASM is $150. You will also receive two comp tickets and a discount code for additional tickets (that you can share with your friends and family).

If you would like more information about this opportunity, or would like to peruse the scripts, we’d love to hear from you!
