About the project and the company
Seeking:
- 2 actors to perform female-identifying on stage characters
- 3 swings, 2 to cover female-identifying on stage characters, 1 to covermale-identifying onstage characters.
- Persons from historically marginalized groups strongly encouraged to attend.
When: Monday February 26, 7pm – 9pm
Where: Studio East. 348 Kirkland Ave, Kirkland, WA
What to bring: One 32-bar cut of a contemporary musical theatre song that shows your range
Actors may be asked to stay and cold read from the script

Rehearsals in Kirkland:
Tuesday – Thursday April 2 – 18, 9am – 1pm
Dress Rehearsal in Everett:
Friday April 19, 10am – 2pm
Performances take place around the Puget Sound region from April 20 – May 19. Performances are primarily Tuesday – Thursday and Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 2pm. Full calendar will be available to review at auditions, but shows are subject to change with 10 days notice. Actors will have the opportunity to disclose any conflicts. Some conflicts do not automatically prevent an actor from being considered as all roles are understudied. Swings will have a guaranteed day of performance. Swings are not expected to be fully on-call for all shows, but will work with the Stage Manager and team to emergency cover as much as possible.
Rate: Rehearsal – $16.28/hr
Performance – $21.75/hr with 3 and 4 hour minimums based on distance.
About Storybook Theatre:
StoryBook Theater performs original musicals for young audiences. These musicals are silly, non-violent versions of traditional fairytales that have been modernized and designed to be entertaining to all ages. Each story asks the audience to participate and all the shows have focuses and themes that teach life-lessons.
