The Masked Actor - 3 deep voiced character actors needed!

About the project and the company

Woodinville Repertory Theatre (WRT) is doing a fun virtual competition – The Masked Actor.

Actors and their environments will be disguised using filters (ala Snapchat), while performing public domain monologues from the Spoon River Anthology. The audience’s job will be to try and pair each disguised performer with their headshot.

The actor who is most successful at fooling the audience, by receiving the least correct guesses, will receive an additional $50.

Filters are being provided, and we will work with actors to choose a selection from Spoon River.

Filters can be added in post if your technology doesn’t love video effects!

Submissions will be accepted thru. February 5th.

Final casting notifications will be made by February 12th.

The project will likely air starting in March and will be hosted on WRT’s website.

Stipend: $25

Winner receives an additional $50.

Please send the following information to auditions@woodinvillerep.org Headshot Resume 2 minutes or less of a character monologue Video can be as a youtube/vimeo link or zipped attachment. We are looking for lower register voices. Whether you can put one on or have one naturally, we’d love to hear it! Technology: Must have the ability to record and send good quality video.
