About Burien Actors Theatre
We give audiences an intriguing and invigorating experience with unusual theatrical and performing arts productions they can't see on film or anywhere else. Each season, BAT typically offers 4 main-stage productions plus a summer show focused on South King County parks. Our shows are typically newer works, and we are often the first or second theater in the greater Seattle area to produce them. We like intelligent dialogue, strong story-telling, a sense of humor and relevance to today's critical issues. While we partner to strengthen local businesses and organizations, our audience and artists are regional.
We welcome and embrace our shared humanity through live theater. We question norms and thrive because of our diversity and energetic commitment to excellence. BAT's Values: Use respect for all as our guiding principle in everything we do Advance diversity, inclusivity, and equity Partner with diverse arts organizations, businesses, and educational programs Create and support sustainable growth for the theater and our communities Inspire and nurture artists Be forward-thinking – boldly challenging tradition Embrace resourcefulness, adaptability, and innovation in the pursuit of success
